BOLD: Obama’s FY 2011 Budget Includes Cap & Tax!

(PLUS: WITH CAP & TAX, JOKE’S ON THE TAXPAYER- SEE VIDEO ON OUR HOME PAGE!!)

WASHINGTON – Saturday’s Washington Examiner reports the Obama administration’s proposed budget for 2011 assumes billions of dollars in income through a “Cap and Tax” National Energy Tax plan just one Senate floor vote away from passage.

“Obama wants a vote on Cap and Tax immediately, and this is pressure tactic to win those final few votes needed to pass it.  Time is running out and it will work unless you call your senators at 202-224-3121 and tell them to vote ‘no’ on Cap and Tax,” said WTP Public Relations Director Donny Ferguson.

“The White House told Sen. John Kerry’s office that the president plans to assume revenue from the controversial climate policy approach. Kerry aides said they had assurances the revenue won’t be designated for issues unrelated to energy policy and combating climate change,” writes Energy and Environment News senior reporter Darren Samuelson, according to Examiner editorial page editor Mark Tapscott.

“Obama last year proposed in his fiscal 2010 budget that a cap-and-trade program would raise some $650 billion over 10 years via a full auction of emission credits, with the money primarily going to pay for middle-class tax cuts and development and deployment of clean energy technologies,” writes Samuelson.

In his Wednesday address to Congress, Obama pressured senators to pass the Cap and Tax plan.  The proposal is just one Senate floor vote away from passing, though a few defections among a group of wavering senators could kill the energy tax, emphasizing the urgent need for citizens to contact their senators and express their opposition.

“The decision whether to tax your light switch and eliminate two million jobs a year rests on the votes of a handful of wavering senators. Unless every senator’s phone is ringing off the hook with people telling him or her to vote ‘no,’ Obama will get his job-killing National Energy Tax that forces employers to finance his friends in the ‘green energy’ speculators’ market” said Ferguson.

“Obama is confident he will get Cap and Tax.  It is up to the American people to determine whether his arrogance results in getting what he wants as he did with the ‘stimulus’ bill, or whether it’s dashed like it was in Massachusetts.”

Economy, Jobs Top Americans’ Priority: “Global Warming” Last, Getting Lower

Posted on January 26, 2010 by Quallurce

The Pew Research Center has released the results of its annual “Public Priorities” poll and despite a ceaseless media campaign of falsified “man-made global warming” alarmism, more and more Americans are rejected Gang Green’s political agenda.

Americans continue to name the economy and jobs as the issues they care about most.  Not only does “global warming” continue to finish at the bottom, it’s getting lower.

83 percent tell Pew “strengthening the nation’s economy” is an important issue, and 81 percent say the same of “improving the job situation.”

And despite aggressive campaigning by Barack Obama and radical environmentalist groups to drum up fear of “man-made global warming,” the number of Americans who cite it as a top issue continues to plunge.

Only 28 percent said “dealing with global warming” was an important issue, continuing the annual tradition of it finishing at the bottom of the poll.  That 28 percent figure is a 10 percent plunge from the 38 percent who said it was important just three years ago — when it was also among the least-concerning issues.

Public opinion is on the side of sound science and American employers, but radical environmentalist groups are armed with multi-million dollar campaign budgets and a reputation for using aggressive, law-bending tactics.  That’s why a multi-billion dollar “Cap and Tax” national energy tax could soon be voted on by the Senate.  Despite the fact it would kill as many as 2.5 million jobs a year, wavering senators are reluctant to defy the political will of the League of Conservation Voters, Sierra Club and other radical ecosocialist groups, who have a history of running false and malicious ads against those who question their agenda.

Is your senator one of those wavering?  Call them at 202-224-3121 and tell them you want them you — and most Americans — want them to vote NO on the so-called “cap and trade” scheme.

New Sierra Club Head Marks Escalation in Greens’ War on Economy

Posted on January 25, 2010 by Quallurce

Radical ecosocialist group The Sierra Club, announced last week that long-time executive director Carl Pope would be replaced by Michael Brune, the 38-year-old head of the extremist attack group Rainforest Action Network.

With The Sierra Club and other ecosocialist groups moving toward a more overt opposition to capitalism, what experience does Brune bring as head of The Sierra Club? He:

  • Targeted Burger King, causing a 12% drop in revenues and massive job losses among ranchers who were selling the company beef.
  • Targeted Wells Fargo for harassment with a campaign of trespassing and harassment.
  • Attacked Texas utility companies as part of a strategy to shut down power plants, sending utility bills rising.
  • Waged campaign of trespassing and harassment against lumber company Weyerhauser, intended to scare off home sales and kill jobs.

Brune’s M.O. is simple. Hold American companies hostage, using “environmental concerns” as a weapon. It’s surprisingly effective. With revenues — and jobs — dying as Brune’s goons wage war on employers, companies eventually give in to Brune’s demands — which often include sharing company revenues with his Gang Green friends. Through the use of misinformation, trespassing and harassment, Brune has also threatened and bullied Citigroup, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Home Depot, and Boise Cascade into obeying his orders.

With America’s economy in recession, radical ecosocialist groups like the Rainforest Action Network and The Sierra Club see this as a rare opportunity to “pull the plug” on capitalism. Western Tradition Partnership’s members stand ready to defend freedom, property and prosperity as “Gang Green” prepares to drastically escalate their war on America’s economy.

UN: Yet Another “Climate Change Disaster” Report Based on Bogus Data

Posted on January 24, 2010 by Quallurce

Just days after the vice-chair of the United Nation’s “Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change” admitted their claim Himalayan glaciers would completely disappear by 2035 was completely falsified, the panel has been caught — yet again — making alarmist claims based on admittedly false data.

This time it’s the famous U.N. report claiming supposed “man-made climate change” was giving birth to a rise in the number and severity of floods and hurricanes.  Data like this is often cited by radical environmentalists as a reason to hurry up and pass Cap and Tax legislation without delay or debate.

One problem, however.  According to London’s Sunday Times:

“It based the claims on an unpublished report that had not been subjected to routine scientific scrutiny — and ignored warnings from scientific advisers that the evidence supporting the link too weak. The report’s own authors later withdrew the claim because they felt the evidence was not strong enough.”

That utter lack of any truth has not stopped Gang Green from using the admittedly fake report as the basis for their arguments in favor of Cap and Trade.  The “report” was also the centerpiece of negotiations for global restrictions on economic activity last month in Copenhagen.

Basing U.S. economic policy on report after report which authors have admitted are false is a lot like writing building codes based on whether Santa can land on the roof and make it down the chimney.

As more and more scientists step forward and admit the supposed “settled science” is based entirely on self-described “tricks,” reports no one can find any information for and reports that were cited as fact even though the authors withdrew them because they found errors, radical environmentalists are stepping up the pressure on the United States Senate to rush to a vote on Cap and Trade legislation.

Projected to send utility bills skyrocketing and eliminate as many as 2.5 million Americans jobs each year, environmentalists want this economy-killing scheme passed before the curtain is pulled back anymore on the intricate hoax that is “the science of man-made global warming.”  They remember what happened in the 1970s when the “settled science” of “the population bomb that will eliminate the human species by 2000″ was discovered to be a hoax as well.

They view America’s economy as too big.  They don’t think it’s “fair” that Americans have an economy more prosperous than others.  “Cap and Tax” is intended to correct that.

But some senators are still wavering.  They don’t want to cross Gang Green and their multi-million dollar campaign accounts.  Some are still considering helping pass Cap and Tax.

Are your senators willing to rush to a vote on a job-slaughtering Cap and Tax bill, even has more and more “climate change researchers” are stepping forward and admitting they simply made stuff up?

Call them at 202-224-3121 and tell them to oppose Cap and Tax.

UN Admits Glacier Melt Claim is Phony

Posted on January 21, 2010 by Quallurce

How many jobs have to die for a lie?

Back in 2007, the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change issued an alarmist report swearing the planet was headed for catastrophe if humans continued to emit carbon dioxide.

Among the more shocking claims was the UN’s assertion that Himalaya’s glaciers would be completely melted by 2035.  Real scientists were immediately skeptical and criticized the hazy figures behind the report.

It turns out they had good reason to be suspicious.  Jean-Pascal van Ypersele, vice-chairman of the UN’s climate panel, has finally admitted to the BBC that Himalayan glacier claim was completely wrong.

He did not elaborate on why exactly they decided to make that widely-criticized claim.

And, sticking to the script, van Ypersele says this one mistake does not invalidate their overall conclusion.  Of course, this is the latest in an endless parade of admitted falsifications that are the entire basis for the “man-made global warming” hoax.

But now the pressure shifts to the U.S. Senate.  The multi-billion dollar “Cap and Tax” scheme, which senators are about to vote on, is being rammed down Americans’ throats because of faked data and falsified claims like this.

Are your senators ready to kill as many as 2.5 million jobs a year, raise your utility bills and create a “carbon credit” speculator scheme that would make Al Gore millions, simply because falsified data told them to?

Give them a call at 202-224-3121 and ask them.

Gang Green Opens New Front in War on U.S. Economy

Dark Days Ahead

Dark Days Ahead if Eco-socialists have their way

MORE WAR ON THE POOR – by Donny Ferguson

The Sierra Club, Greenpeace and other eco-socialist organizations are now waging an all-out war to outlaw surface coal mining in Appalachia (before you gasp at the term “eco-socialist” refer to its page on Wikipedia).  Not only is it the safest and most efficient way to extract badly-needed coal, it’s the only thing keeping food on the table for countless families in some of this country’s poorest regions (see video here).

Their goal is simple.  Outlaw coal mining so energy prices will skyrocket, forcing Americans to engage in less capitalist activity. It’s called “demand destruction” and it’s the defining difference between reasonable conservationists like WTP members and true eco-socialists.

And if families literally starve, as many do in Appalachia when the mines don’t operate — too bad.  They’re simply chalked up as “collateral damage” in Gang Green’s war on the American economy.

This is a war radical environmentalists are taking deadly seriously.  They’re not willing to bet all their chips on “Cap and Tax” legislation they’ll try to ram through this spring.

They need to shut down coal mining to achieve their openly stated goal:

“We must make this an insecure and inhospitable place for capitalists and their projects . . . We must reclaim the roads and plowed land, halt dam construction, tear down existing dams, free shackled rivers and return to wilderness millions of tens of millions of acres of presently settled land.” — David Foreman, Earth First!

And who can forget Barack Obama’s January 17, 2008, interview with the San Francisco Chronicle (excerpted in the same video), in which he openly stated that if elected his policies would seek to “bankrupt” the coal industry.

That means drastically higher utility bills for you, millions of jobs lost as employers struggle to pay higher production and energy costs, and cruel human suffering – as seen in the already economically-vulnerable Appalachian region.

Call your Senators today and tell them “I oppose Cap and Tax!”, and tell them to support american jobs by supporting

responsible development of American Energy!
