Call Senator Alexander right away

Our friends at Energy Makes America Great are helping lead the fight to stop Obama’s EPA attack on coal.

The U.S. Senate will be voting soon on a resolution by Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) to overturn Obama “MACT” regulations intended to fulfill his campaign promise to “bankrupt the coal industry.”

Senator Inhofe’s resolution to overturn Obama’s dictate only needs 51 votes.

With coal state Democrats, who are feeling the heat over President Obama’s attacks on coal, joining Republicans, this should be an easily reachable number–but Senator Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) is holding out, EMAG reports.

Even worse, Phil Kerpen reports Alexander will try to save Obama’s dictate by offering a “phony amendment, reportedly being offered with Arkansas’s Mark Pryor that would extend the timeline for the Utility MACT rule from four years to six.”

Call Senator Alexander’s office now (202.224.4944) and leave a message asking him to support Senator Jim Inhofe’s S.J. Res. 37 by dropping his phony amendment and overturn the Obama’s MACT rule.

Sincerely,

Donald Ferguson
