keystone xl obama
Hillary’s jaw dropped
August 9, 2012
Dear patriot,
Imagine the looks on the faces of State Department workers when ATP delivered 150,000 public comments — all in favor of the Keystone XL Pipeline — last week!
Thank you so much for signing your petition. Your action is really making a difference!
In fact, just recently, the Obama Administration allowed the southern portion of the pipeline to go through with construction.
But this is only one small step — and allowing construction of a portion of the pipeline makes it that much more crucial that Barack Obama allows the entire pipeline to move forward.
That’s why I’m counting on the generous support of folks like you to help ATP continue to fight the Keystone Pipeline battle and the many others we face against the radical environmentalists.
ATP is the ONLY national grassroots organization designed to mobilize Americans from all over the country to fight back against the radical environmentalists’ schemes.
You see, the radical environmentalists and their Big Government pals are not only targeting oil production and pushing gas prices sky-high.
They’re doing everything they can to shut down coal-fired energy plants and regulating everything from what type of water heater you have in your home to what kind of light bulbs we use!
So today, our work has never been more important.
ATP’s mobilization of the American people on these critical issues could be the difference between lower energy prices and a free and prosperous future for Americans — or even higher energy prices, a stagnant economy and less freedom.
But our success at defeating the radical environmentalists depends on the generosity of concerned folks like you.
That’s why I hope you’ll agree to make a generous contribution of $250, $150, $100, $50 to help ATP in our battle against the radical environmentalists.
Even if you can only chip in $20, $15 or $10 bucks — it’ll be a tremendous help in this fight.
In the coming days, I’ll be sending you some information about some of these important battles you and I are facing against the radical environmentalists.
Of course, you and I are knee-deep in the midst of one of the most crucial election years in our nation’s history, so its critical folks like you and me stand up and fight back against the radical environmentalists.
Our future — and our economy — could very well depend on it.
Sincerely,

Donny Ferguson
Executive Director
P.S. Thank you for signing your petition to the State Department demanding they allow construction of the critical Keystone XL Pipeline.
You petition — along with 150,000 others — sent a loud-and-clear message that the American people are tired of the radical environmentalists keeping our economy under lock and key and telling you and I how to live.
Of course, this fight is far from over — so I’m going to continue to ask for your help and support in the future.
That’s why I hope you’ll agree to make a generous contribution of $250, $150, $100, $50 to help ATP fight these important battles.
ATP delivers 150,000 Keystone pipeline citizen petitions to the State Department
Washington, D.C. – With the go-ahead just given for construction of the southern portion of the Keystone XL oil pipeline – which would stretch from Canada to the Louisiana Coast if the entire project is ultimately approved – one national grassroots organization isn’t taking anything for granted.
As the public comment phase of approval ended yesterday – where the U.S. State Department gathers comments from the general public for or against a project – American Tradition Partnership (ATP), a national grassroots organization dedicated to fighting radical environmentalists, delivered over 150,000 public comments generated from Americans all over the country.
“This is an astounding number of public comments and proves what the polls are saying are true,” said Donny Ferguson, ATP’s Executive Director.
“Americans are sick and tired of the Obama administration’s kowtowing to radical environmentalists, and – whether it’s oil, natural gas or coal – they want to see America’s energy future secured.”
A Pew Research Poll from February showed nearly two-thirds of Americans who had heard about the Keystone XL Pipeline project supported its completion.
Proponents of the Keystone XL Pipeline – including ATP – argue construction of the pipeline would create tens of thousands of new jobs and ultimately lower fuel prices as the pipeline would make it easier to bring new oil to the global market.
“American Tradition Partnership is the one group out there that is taking the radical environmentalists head-on at the grassroots level.,” continued Mr. Ferguson.
“Those 150,000 public comments should send a message both to President Obama and members of Congress. Americans don’t want to see our economy locked up under the radical environmentalists lock and key, and they’re prepared to take action.
“November is rapidly approaching. Politicians who ignore voters’ wishes will pay a severe price.”

Stop Obama’s Gas Price Hike!

July 24, 2012
Dear Donny,
Won’t you please take a quick moment and read the enclosed letter from my good friends at American Tradition?
I sure hope you will.
American Tradition stands alone as the only organization in the country dedicated solely to fighting and defeating the radical environmentalists at their own game.
They’re tough. They’re principled. And they know how to win.
So please take a moment to read this letter and, hopefully, lend American Tradition your support.
Sincerely,

The Hon. Paul Broun
U.S. Congressman (R-GA)
Dear Donny,
Last year — during an absolutely critical period in the fight — tens of thousands of Americans like you and me sent a special letter to the State Department urging them to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline.
Now, construction of the pipeline — which would lower gas prices and create tens of thousands of new jobs — is set to enter a crucial approval phase yet again.
If the radical environmentalists defeat this project, it’s virtually assured the price at the pump will soar.
Last year — even with gas prices at a whopping $4.00 per gallon — President Obama OUTRAGED the overwhelming majority of the American people by stopping the Keystone XL Pipeline.
It wasn’t because the pipeline isn’t “environmentally-friendly.”
The Keystone XL Pipeline has passed every step of the incredibly strict and expensive approval process with flying colors!
The real reason President Obama killed Keystone XL?
While more abundant and cheaper gasoline means great news for the U.S. economy, it’s bad news for President Obama’s “green” investor pals like Al Gore and George Soros.
There would simply be no way their experimental (and EXPENSIVE!) energy projects would be able to compete if government bureaucracy got out of the way and finally allowed gas prices to sink.
So instead of working to make things easier for hardworking families struggling to make ends meet, radical environmentalists are doing everything they can to keep energy prices sky-high and our economy in the doldrums.
Not only that, but by standing in the way of virtually all domestic energy exploration, the radical environmentalists are keeping our country dependent on foreign oil — often from countries who hate the U.S. and everything we stand for.
This is nothing more than crony capitalism at its absolute worst.
That’s why your signed petition is so critical.
The good news is, it’s an election year.
Polls show Americans are FED UP with the radical environmentalists’ chaining of our fragile economy under regulatory lock and key.
So will President Obama KILL Keystone XL once again and risk his re-election?
It’s up to you and me to find out.
By signing your petition, you’ll be sending a loud-and-clear message to Barack Obama and his cronies at the State Department.
The good news is, during such a hotly-contested election year, politicians and government officials are being forced to pay much more attention to public opinion.
So folks like you and me have a REAL opportunity to make a difference.
Right now, the State Department is gathering comments from U.S. citizens, which they will take into account before deciding whether or not to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline.
But radical environmentalist activists from all over the country have set a goal of generating ONE MILLION comments to KILL the Keystone XL Pipeline!
They know if the Keystone XL Pipeline is halted again — even after complying with all of the federal government’s requirements — it could send oil markets into a frenzy, rapidly driving up fuel prices.
So it’s up to you and me to beat the radical environmentalists at their own game.
That’s why your signed petition is so crucial.
Each petition I can gather will be hand-delivered to the State Department.
And each petition will send a LOUD-AND-CLEAR message to Barack Obama that there will be a price to pay for kowtowing to Gang Green’s demands.
So can I count on you to sign?
And if you could make a generous contribution of $500, $250, $100, $50, $35 — or whatever you can afford — I’d really appreciate it.
But most importantly please sign your petition IMMEDIATELY!
Sincerely,

Donald Ferguson
Executive Director
P.S. Despite the fact that the vast majority of Americans support construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline, Barack Obama’s Gang Green pals are blocking construction — standing in the way of new jobs and domestic energy.
That’s why I’m counting on you to send a loud-and-clear message to Barack Obama that there will be a political price to pay for blocking construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline.
So I’m counting on you to sign your petition DEMANDING the U.S. State Department approve the critical Keystone XL Pipeline Project.
And if you could make a generous contribution of $500, $250, $100, $50, $35 — or whatever you can afford — I’d really appreciate it.
ATP blasts Obama Keystone decision
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE/Wednesday, January 18, 2012
Citizens group blasts Obama Keystone decision
Decision to kill Keystone “victory for terrorist regimes, Communist aggressors and Obama’s wealthy left-wing activist base” but “not a permanent one”
WASHINGTON – American Tradition Partnership Executive Director Donald Ferguson released the following statement Wednesday afternoon:
“Barack Obama decided long ago to side with his radical liberal base and the Gang Green billionaires who fund his campaign by killing the Keystone jobs pipeline.
He thought he could avoid responsibility by hiding his views until after the election. Voters have a right to know where he stands on jobs and energy. Today he showed voters where he stood – in the pocket of the multi-billion dollar Gang Green environmentalist lobby.
This decision was anything but rushed or arbitrary. Our Canadian allies and hundreds of thousands of American workers have waited patiently for three years for a decision that could have been made long ago. Obama simply sat on it because he didn’t want to face an pre-election choice between creating jobs to please union members, or slaughtering hundreds of thousands of jobs to please his Gang Green campaign bankrollers. In the end, he chose campaign cash over the jobs of Americans.
There was no reason for Obama to kill the jobs pipeline, other than blind adherence to a radical liberal ideology that has already killed millions of jobs and thwarted economic renewal for nearly four years now.
Obama’s decision to kill the jobs pipeline is a punch in the teeth to the unemployed, working families and Americans who need clean, reliable and affordable energy.
At the expense of working Americans Obama just handed a victory to anti-American regimes in Iran, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela. His decision to kill the Keystone jobs pipeline makes us more dependent on foreign oil.
At the expense of working Americans Obama just handed a victory to Communist China. With the United States pipeline killed by his hand, the oil will be sold to China. Their Communist regime will make billions that could have been paid to American workers. Instead, Barack Obama has told Communist China to reap massive profits refining our own North American oil and selling it back to us.
But this victory for terrorist regimes, Communist aggressors and Obama’s wealthy left-wing activist base is not a permanent one. The fight to build the Keystone jobs pipeline has just begun.
American Tradition Partnership’s large and growing grassroots army will spent 2012 engaging millions of voters, informing them of Obama’s destructive Gang Green-led policies. Together ATP and millions of voters will change American jobs and energy policy in Congress and in the White House. Americans deserve the good jobs and clean, affordable energy the Keystone jobs pipeline will deliver.
The Keystone pipeline will be approved by the next administration, whether it be a humbled Barack Obama or a new president.
Tomorrow morning I will leave D.C. for Southeast Texas, where much of the Keystone pipeline’s safe, clean North American energy will be delivered. There I will begin ATP’s national effort to engage voters and change policy.
Obama slapped voters in the face today by carrying out a job-slaughtering decision he made long ago. However, he will learn that voters will strike back even more forcefully.”
ATP does not advocate the election or defeat of candidates. Supported by grassroots members, ATP is a fast-growing, grassroots-supported non-profit organization dedicated to fighting environmental extremism and promoting responsible development and management of land, water, and natural resources. The citizens’ group educates the public and lobbies legislators on issues of environmental extremism and promoting responsible development and management of land, water, and natural resources.

VICTORY!: Citizen pressure forces Obama to sign bill w/ Keystone provision
“President Obama signed into law a broad payroll tax package Friday afternoon that includes a measure requiring him to make a speedy decision on the Keystone XL pipeline,” The Hill reports this afternoon.
“The GOP-backed measure requires the administration to make a decision within 60 days on the pipeline, which would carry oil sands crude from Alberta, Canada, to refineries on the Gulf Coast. In order to reject the pipeline, Obama would have to declare that the project is not in the national interest.”
Obama previously asserted he would veto the bill and would never approve any legislation speeding up a decision on the critically-needed, safe, clean Keystone pipeline.
But that stone wall crumbled under a wave of grassroots pressure applied by American Tradition Partnership and other groups. For days, ATP supporters have been calling, e-mailing and faxing the White House, demanding Obama sign a bill containing language requiring action on Keystone.
“Once again American Tradition Partnership supporters have forced Obama to back off his radical green extremism,” said American Tradition Partnership Donald Ferguson. “I’ll put this in words Obama can understand. We are the 99 percent. You and the multi-million dollar Gang Green lobby are the one percent. If you continue to act on your radical green agenda of killing the Keystone jobs pipeline, you’ll be the one looking for work in 2013.”
But Obama still opposes the jobs pipeline, and all indications are he will reject it.
“Our hope is that the president will use the opportunity to deny the permit, and sooner rather than later,” said Bill McKibben president of the radical green group “350.” “His administration has made it clear many times over the past few weeks that the demand for quick approval attached to this legislation would result in the rejection of the pipeline.”
The shortened deadline means ATP must mount a, as The Hill puts it, “savage battle.”
As I told you Monday, I will be here at my desk through the weekend Christmas holiday fighting for your right to speak publicly about Gang Green.
And now I will have to add to that an intense battle against Obama and Gang Green to approve the Keystone pipeline.
I know things are hectic on Christmas weekend, but I hope you will stand with me.
Please go here to chip in $10 or more to help me keep up the fight for the Keystone jobs pipeline.
Thanks to you I’ve already broken through one White House stone wall, forcing him to actually make a decision.
But this next one, pressuring Obama to do the right thing and approve the pipeline, will be even bloodier and tougher.
Please stand with me. Go here to chip in $10 or more.
We’ve already been given a great Christmas gift. Your grassroots pressure brought Obama to his knees and made him accept a bill forcing him to make a decision on the Keystone pipeline.
I’ll be here at my desk all weekend fighting to make sure it’s the right one.
Thank you for your loyal support throughout the year. May you and your family have a blessed Christmas, and I hope you will continue to stand with me through the holidays and this upcoming election year.
Sincerely,
Donald Ferguson, Executive Director
P.S. You forced him to back down, somewhat. “President Obama signed into law a broad payroll tax package Friday afternoon that includes a measure requiring him to make a speedy decision on the Keystone XL pipeline,” The Hill reports this afternoon.
But the shortened deadline means ATP must mount a, as The Hill puts it, “savage battle.” Please go here to chip in $10 or more to help me keep up the fight for the Keystone jobs pipeline.
Thank you for your friendship and support through this year. Merry Christmas and thank you!
